Laser scanners are able to measure up to 1 million points per second over distances of 200 metres or more, recording in 3D all the features around it like walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows and even people – if you stand still long enough.

Any object, rooms, buildings, even cities can be accurately captured in a 3D point cloud, which can then be used as a basis for 3D models, 2D drawings, BIM (building information management), video games and films.
